V's 350 Degrees

THE CHEMISTRY BEHIND OUR NAME

350 degrees is a common temperature at which many foods are cooked. It is based on the Maillard Reaction, the chemical process that yields a golden-brown hue when proteins and sugars are heated together. In addition to color, this reaction creates flavor compounds that leave your food tasting more complex and more delicious.
